Taya Lebel is a country/rock artist from Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, with a powerful voice that has been described as haunting, captivating, and soulful. Singing since she could talk and stepping on stage by the age of 8, Taya quickly grew into a dynamic performer known for her smooth voice, a hint of rasp, and an impressive vocal range.
Her sound draws influence from a wide mix of artists and genres. Resilient and determined, Taya carries a “watch me do it” attitude and isn’t one to back down from a challenge. She has already performed across Saskatchewan at a multitude of different festivals and venues, including Country Thunder Saskatchewan, Gateway Music Festival, Lakeside Music Festival, and many more. She has had the chance to open for artists such as Dawson Gray, Wide Mouth Mason, Glass Tiger and The Steadies. In 2026, she was nominated for Emerging Artist of the Year as well as Female Artist of the Year at the Saskatchewan Country Music Awards.
In 2025, Taya began writing and recording her original music. Taya’s debut single, “Life We’re Livin’” charted for 8 weeks on the Billboard Canada Country Chart, peaking at #54, as well as reaching #4 on the Canadian Indie Country Countdown. Her follow-up single, an upbeat country/rock song titled “Didn’t Get Far,” is out now.
